Matthew Ruscigno, MPH, RD
Hello members of the Vegetarian Nutrition DPG. I am beyond honored to have been nominated to run for the position of Chair-Elect. I became involved with VN DPG when I was dietetic student and worked with many fantastic, energetic dietitians who are passionate about plant-based diets. In these past several years I have seen interest in vegetarianism increase in the public and in the nutrition field and our DPG has grown along with it. Our members were key components in creating the new ADA Position Paper on Vegetarian Diets and every year we have terrific speakers and events at FNCE. I'm thankful for the work of all of our active members over the years, but especially for Linda Rankin who set in motion our Strategic Plan and outlined our short and long-term goals. I hope to continue with this vision and make our DPG more visible and active with the people in the communities we work and within the ADA. I look forward to working with all of you and to the continued success of the Vegetarian Nutrition DPG.
Diana K Cullum-Dugan RD, LDN
As a dietitian/yoga teacher, a developed ability to see the good in all assists me in making decisions utilizing intention, awareness, non-violence and integrity that impact and reflect onto myself and the entire Vegetarian Nutrition DPG team.
Meredith Hink MS, RD
I feel that I am an excellent candidate for the office of Secretary as I am well-versed in the duties of an officer for this DPG. As the Membership Chair and e-mentorship coordinator, I have proven to be timely, dependable, outgoing, and creative.
Amy Rose Sager, RD, LDN, CLT
My experience in leadership at district and state levels in Massachusetts provides me the enthusiasm and vision to work with VN DPG as it becomes the leading authority in evidence-based vegetarian nutrition. As a member of the nominating committee, I will encourage members to become actively engaged in the leadership roles available through VN DPG.
